Nonviolent Communication Workshop

Aug 28 – 30, 2009, Fri 7pm – Sun 5pm

jasonNonviolent Communication (NVC) is sometimes referred to as compassionate communication. It involves both communication skills that foster compassionate relating and consciousness of the interdependence of our well being, and using power with others to work together to meet the needs of all concerned.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn basic theory of Nonviolent Communication.
  • Use personal examples from your life to learn with.
  • Experience a safe, intimate, learning community.
  • Participate in a balance of exercises, group discussion, meditation, role play, and direct instruction.

Jason Kelley has spent the past 7 years learning and implementing Nonviolent Communication(sm) in his life as a form of practical spirituality. He experiences profound and deep spiritual awareness and transformation through this process. A patient, compassionate teacher, he never tires of witnessing the healing and connecting process of NVC. Jason expresses his creativity and humor with in-the-moment learning experiences, modeling NVC techniques, and sharing personal examples. He is passionate about spiritual and personal growth. Jason has worked as an educator and has a degree in teaching. He is a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication. Jason’s website is www.nvccoaching.org.

Tuition: The cost is $225 for the weekend (does not include room and board).
