I am inviting anyone interested to join me in my meditation and self-awareness practice.
We will be meeting on a weekly basis and also doing occasional short retreats and longer retreats on a yearly basis. Participants will be asked to adhere to a daily meditation practice, to make efforts in the practice of self-awareness, and to attend meetings regularly, bringing a positive mental attitude and a willingness to be open and to share from their personal experience.
We will be using various practices that I have found to be effective. Among these are the practice of self-awareness, self-observation, dialogue, meditation, etc.
I have been on a path of personal growth for close to fourty years and I have a wish to share what I have learned. I have been involved in Buddhist meditation, Sufi practice, the Gurdjieff Work, and other practices.
This group will be open to beginners and seasoned meditators alike. I will ask that you give up, for the time being, any other practice you might be doing now. I have found this work to be some of the most difficult I have ever attempted. It demands persistence, courage and integrity, but the benefits can be well worth the effort.
