What are Skills for Cooperative Living?

Skills for cooperative living are techniques and practices that help people connect, cooperate, and live together harmoniously. These include consensus decision making, non-violent communication, conflict resolution and transformational processes that foster deep heart-centered sharing and personal growth. Most people in mainstream U.S. culture are not taught these skills during childhood, so we must learn them as adults if we want to create a more peaceful, cooperative culture.
