Registration Form for Home-Scale Permaculture Design Course

To reserve your space in the course please complete this registration form and send in a $200 deposit.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
The course tuition is a sliding scale of $800 to $1,000 if you register and pay the $200 deposit by August 10, 2011.  After August 10 the price increases to a sliding scale of $900 to $1,100.  Meals and lodging are optional and will require an additional fee.
Note: Heathcote's kitchen is vegetarian with some fish available.  Please do not bring meat to Heathcote. The meal plan includes Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch.  There will be vegan and ovo-lacto vegetarian options, and we will do our best to accommodate allergies and special needs.
You may provide your own lodging on Saturday nights or stay at Heathcote.  You will need to provide your own camping gear and bedding if you choose to stay at Heathcote.  A list of local hotels and B&B's will be included in your course logistics packet for those who prefer to stay off site.
You may stay at Heathcote on Friday nights.  This is recommended for those who have to travel a long distance to get to class.  Class will start promptly at 8:30 am on Saturday morning.
Add the sum of your tuition plus the optional meal plan if you selected it plus your lodging fee.
You must pay at least a $200 deposit to reserve your space.  Please make your check payable to School of Living and mail to Heathcote Education Committee, 21300 Heathcote Rd., Freeland, MD  21053.
The payment plan is a $200 deposit plus 5 equal installments due at the beginning of class for the first 5 weekends.
LOGISTICAL INFORMATION
Heathcote's kitchen is vegetarian with some canned fish available.
Check all that apply.  We will provide a carpooling network.  If you want to carpool please specify your travel route. Please be aware that the closest public transportation is the light rail stop at Hunt Valley.  It is about a 20 minute drive from Heathcote.  If you need a ride from the Hunt Valley light rail station, please specify that in the travel comments box.

FINANCIAL AID
We have a very small scholarship fund and we have submitted a grant proposal to raise more funds for this purpose.   If you would like to apply for financial aid please contact Karen Stupski.  Scholarship funds will be allocated based on the following criteria:  1) financial need 2) diversity and 3) to support those who intend to apply their permaculture skills to nonprofit projects and/or share what they have learned by educating others.
