PAYMENT INFORMATION
The workshop tuition is a sliding scale $150 - $250 if you register by August 1.  After that date the price increases to $200 - $300, with a special Financial Assistance rate of $150/person.  While the workshop will be well worth the full price, we do not want money to stand in the way of anyone participating, and trust that everyone will figure out the appropriate amount to contribute in light of their personal financial situation and the value to them of this information and experience.  You may provide your own food and lodging or purchase these at our site for an additional fee.  See details below.

We are offering an optional "Introduction to Permaculture" workshop on Friday evening, 7:00 - 9:00 pm, at Heathcote.  The cost is a sliding scale $10 - $20.  If you want to attend please enter the amount you will pay in the box.  The Transition Towns movement grew out of the permaculture movement.  This introductory workshop will introduce you to the ethics and principles of permaculture, and provide some examples of permaculture designs.  It will provide relevant background information for the Training for Transition Towns workshop.
You may provide your own lodging or stay at Heathcote Community for an additional fee.  Camping is $10 per night and staying in the bunk room is $15 per night.  Our facilities are rustic.
You may provide your own food or sign up for our meal plan which includes the following vegetarian meals:  Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, and Sunday lunch.

Please pay at least a $50 deposit to reserve your space in the workshop.  Make your check payable to School of Living. Mail your check to Heathcote Education Committee, 21300 Heathcote Rd., Freeland, MD 21053.  The full payment is due at the beginning of the workshop.
LOGISTICAL INFORMATION
Check all that apply.  Please be aware that the closest public transportation is the light rail stop at Hunt Valley.  It is about a 20 minute drive from Heathcote.   If you need a ride from the Hunt Valley light rail station, please specify that in the travel comments box.
