Integrative Facilitation Training

Heathcote member Karen Stupski is coordinating a two-year course in Integrative Facilitation being taught by Laird Schaub & Ma'ikwe Ludwig in the Maryland/Virginia/eastern Pennsylvania area. She is serving as the coordinator for this training and she is proposing to start on February 25 or March 4, 2010, and continue through late 2011.  Starting in the winter of 2010 is contingent on getting enough students to fill the class, and finding a host site for the first weekend. The backup plan is to start on May 27, 2010.   Laird developed this training in 2003. It's been delivered three times, with a fourth round now half-way completed in NC. This is a proven program for making a quantum leap in your ability to run dynamic and effective meetings, and in understanding the nuances and challenges of how cooperative groups function.   The format for the training will be eight three-day weekends (Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon), space approximately three months apart. All weekends will be hosted in the Maryand/Virginia/eastern Pennsylvania region.   In order for the class to happen, we need a minimum of 12 students.  Going the other way, there is a maximum of 20 students and space will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.    Karen is also looking for communities to host the weekends. If you're interested in participating in this training or hosting a weekend, please let Karen know and she will be happy to answer questions and/or send you full details about how it will work.    Contact Karen at karen at heathcote dot org or call 410-357-9523.
