House Concerts At Heathcote
You may have heard of a phenomenon in acoustic music called House Concerts. Essentially these are concerts of live music, held in the comfort of someone's home. They provide the opportunity to enjoy music in an intimate, relaxed setting. Many people consider house concerts to be their favorite way to hear their favorite performers.
Heathcote community is proud to present our House Concert series for 2010. We've been doing it for several years now, and currently we're doing two or three shows per year. We hope that you enjoy the shows as much as we are enjoying putting them together.
Please call or email in advance for an invitation and directions.
Our next concert will be

Judy Marti - Folk Singer-Songwriter-Songcatcher-Farmer
Along with the traditional mountain banjo and guitar songs of Ola Belle Reed, Judy brings Irish, English, Scotish, and American folk ballads, and original fresh and local songs to the Heathcote stage.
Judy will also lead a clawhammer banjo workshop on Saturday, September 10, 2011, from 5:00-6:00 pm. Cost is $20. Beginners will learn basic right hand technique. For those with some experience, you will learn Ola Belle Reed's style, by the author/musician of "A Banjo Pickin' Girl-The Life and Music of Ola Belle Campbell Reed."
Please call (443) 491-3486 or email Concerts@Heathcote.org for reservations and directions. Stay tuned for more concerts to be announced in the near future. Please register on the site to receive emails about House Concerts and other events. See our privacy policy.
